RailFreight Connects 2023
Ports embracing rail

Ports in Europe have been increasing their investments in rail projects all over the continent but many questions still need to be answered. How can this synergy be implemented efficiently? What do ports need to do? What does the rail industry need to do? What can institutions do? These questions are being answered during the RailFreight Connects event in Bremen on 6 and 7 September 2023.

Synergies between rail and port infrastructure, rolling stock management, and technologies are among the main focus of RailFreight Connects. Speakers from all over Europe are going to provide their insights on these topics and more. It will be a great opportunity to reflect on how rail can increase its position as the backbone of European freight transportation and connect all the modalities.

What is unique about this summit is that it is a twin event. It is hosted simultaneously with Project Cargo Summit, an industry event catered towards the project cargo and break bulk industry. Participants of both events will meet on several occasions and can attend breakout sessions of both events.
